Tripod Turnstiles

Tripod turnstiles are the most common and cost-effective solution for access control entrances. It is waist high and has three revolving arms. The gate only allows one person to pass through at a time. We can access bidirectional or free passage in an emergency. The housing is made of stainless steel, which is sturdy and anti-corrosion. It is better under the shelter if installed outdoors.

We know that there are always three types of tickets, one-day tickets, season ticket and annual tickets. So QR codes and RFID card readers are integrated into the turnstile. Guests need to swipe or scan their ticket and push the arms to pass through. The arms can come back to their original position after a turn. There are two types of tripod turnstiles below:

● Semi-auto: The visitor needs to push the arm to pass through after the validation is completed. When the power is off, the arms drop down and free passage. When the power comes back, you need to pull the arms back to their original positions.

● Full-auto: The arms can move to a 20-degree angle automatically after validation is completed, letting the visitor know that they can pass through. When turning on the power, the arms would pull up automatically.

Flap Barriers Gate

The flap barrier retracts or draws out the wing arms to control access. The speed of access is much faster than the tripod turnstile. The gate would open automatically after the validation was completed. There is also green arrow lighting and voice broadcasts for indication.

 

The gate can be configured for bidirectional access if the entrance area is limited. The wing arms are made of acrylic and PU soft material to ensure safety and quick access. The lane width is normally 550mm for normal use and also 900mm for visitors with wheels, trolleys or large luggage.

 

Swing Turnstile / Speed Gate

Swing gates or speed gates are opening in or out at a 90-degree angle like a real door. The gates are made of tempered glass or acrylic that can be printed with a logo and park name. The flap barrier and swing gates are equipped with an infrared sensor, that can detect the location of guests and help the system control movement.

 

The normal width of a swing gate is 600–900 mm. In addition, it can be used for special access lanes where there is a need more than 900 mm, but up to 2000 mm.

Face recognition terminal mounted turnstile

The turnstile can be mounted with a facial recognition terminal. It can not only detect facial features but also validate cards, barcodes, QR codes, and fingerprints without any manual intervention.

 

There are equipped LED indicators, voice broadcast and buzzers for validation of entries and support for TCP/IP or WIFI for network communication. The capacity of the database is up to 50,000, which can store the facial data of guests who bought the season ticket or annual ticket to prevent someone from passing their tickets on to friends and relatives.
